Foreign recruitment agencies object to restricted FWCMS access as Malaysia reopens to Bangladeshi workers

Malaysia is reopening its labour market to Bangladeshi workers after two years, but recruitment agencies across Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar are objecting to the Foreign Workers Centralized Management System (FWCMS) used to register them. Nepal's agency association says only 25 of its 1,100 firms can access the platform, and similar limits apply in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. The FWCMS was developed by Bestinet Sdn Bhd, whose founder Aminul Islam Abdul Nor denies allegations linked to Bangladesh's foreign employment probe.
