FDS nurse Jessie Paya Jok laid to rest at Lambir cemetery in Miri

Jessie Paya Jok, 44, a nurse with the Flying Doctor Service (FDS) killed in a helicopter crash at Long Lellang, Baram, was buried at the Borneo Evangelical Mission (BEM) cemetery in Lambir, Miri this afternoon. She was among five victims of the 8 September crash, which also killed a pilot, a medical officer and a medical assistant. The Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is still investigating the cause.
