Taiping sizzling restaurant owner fined RM18,000 for using Allah and Muhammad without halal certificate
A sizzling restaurant owner in Taiping was fined RM18,000 by the Taiping Sessions Court after pleading guilty to displaying the words Allah and Muhammad without a Malaysian Halal Certificate. A KPDN inspection on Jan 1 found the decorations, and Chemistry Department analysis confirmed two bottles of soy sauce contained pig DNA.
