Indranee: Greenery, heritage sites only considered for housing when no other land available

Second Minister for National Development Indranee Rajah said on Sept 14 that building homes on greenery or heritage sites is a last resort, used only when no suitable brownfield sites exist. Speaking at *Scape Ground Theatre ahead of a closed-door housing dialogue, she cited shrinking household sizes and rising demand for flats, and noted over 400ha of golf course land will be reclaimed by 2030.
