Tun Jugah's son recalls Sarawak's path into Malaysia in 1963

Tan Sri Leonard Linggi Tun Jugah, 86, recalls listening to the Malaysia proclamation on radio in Nanga Gaat, Kapit, while his father Tun Jugah Barieng witnessed it at the Central Padang in Kuching on Sept 16, 1963. He describes how his father rallied 51 Iban headmen in Kapit in 1962 to back the formation of Malaysia ahead of the Cobbold Commission.
