Beluran APM captures python found in wardrobe at Kampung Kolapis Darat home
A one-metre reticulated python was captured by the Beluran Civil Defence Force (APM) after it was found inside a wardrobe at a house in Kampung Kolapis Darat. The APM received a call at 8am and the snake was safely captured by 8.25am. The operation ended without incident.

Sabah minister urges free drinking water for all state schools
Sabah's Education Minister Datuk James Ratib has called on the state government to provide free clean drinking water to students in all 1,300 schools across Sabah, especially in rural and island areas. He made the call during a visit to school construction sites in Beluran, citing students' financial constraints in buying drinks.
