Two crocodile warning signs installed at Sandakan's Pasir Putih beach
Two warning signs about crocodile danger have been installed at both ends of Pasir Putih beach in Sandakan, Sabah, following repeated reports of crocodile sightings in the waters near the fish cages. The move was initiated by Karamunting assemblyman Alex TK Wong after advice from the Sabah Wildlife Department, and residents are urged to be cautious, especially in the early morning, late afternoon and at night.

Sabah police visit retirees at Batu 12 with welfare aid
Sabah police carried out welfare visits and handed out aid to retired officers at Batu 12 in Sandakan on Thursday. Deputy Police Commissioner Datuk Mohd Azhar Hamin said the contributions recognise the retirees' service and urged ex-police associations to look after their members.
