Beluran APM captures python found in wardrobe at Kampung Kolapis Darat home
A one-metre reticulated python was captured by the Beluran Civil Defence Force (APM) after it was found inside a wardrobe at a house in Kampung Kolapis Darat. The APM received a call at 8am and the snake was safely captured by 8.25am. The operation ended without incident.

RM8m for temporary classrooms, hostels for SK Simpangan in Beluran
The Sabah state government has allocated RM8 million for temporary cabin classrooms and hostel facilities for SK Simpangan in Beluran. State minister Datuk James Ratib said the pupils are currently sharing a compound with SMK Simpangan Paitan. Beluran Gagasan Rakyat recruits ex-rivals into pro-tem committee
The Beluran division of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah has added several former political rivals to its pro-tem committee. Division Chief Datuk James Ratib said the new members include former leaders from Bersatu, STAR, Umno and Warisan, who joined voluntarily. The announcement was made after a formation meeting in Sandakan on Sunday.
