Sarawak customs seize 80kg of meth hidden in cat litter parcels bound for Bintulu
Sarawak customs officers seized more than 80kg of methamphetamine worth about RM4 million after 12 days of surveillance on parcels declared as cat litter. The drugs were sent by commercial courier to Bintulu using false recipient details, and the case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

Sarawak Customs foils bid to smuggle 80.35kg of syabu worth over RM4mil in Bintulu
Sarawak Customs thwarted an attempt to smuggle 80.35 kilogrammes of syabu worth more than RM4 million in Bintulu on 28 August. The drugs were hidden in packages declared as Tofu Cat Litter. The case is being investigated under Section 39B(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

Bintulu suicide call a false alarm, couple quarrel instead
A distress call about an alleged suicide attempt behind a hotel in Jalan Keppel, Bintulu, turned out to be a minor quarrel between a couple. Firefighters from the Bintulu station found no suicide attempt and no rescue was needed; police were present to keep order.
