Adam Adli: RM1 million Kampung Angkat Madani project in Sungai Putat
The Kampung Angkat Madani programme in Kampung Sungai Putat, Melaka, has spent over RM1 million on community facility upgrades including a hall, roads, drainage and solar lights. Deputy Higher Education Minister Adam Adli Abd Halim said a flood mitigation project worth over RM24 million in the area is more than 50% complete and expected to finish next year.

Gardener in Melaka returns RM15,000 gold bracelet found at museum
A gardener at the Maritime Museum in Banda Hilir, Melaka found a gold bracelet worth about RM15,000 while sweeping the museum grounds last Sunday. Tengku Andy Asmawi, 28, handed the jewellery to museum management, saying he did not want to take what was not his. The bracelet was later returned to its owner from Kuala Lumpur.

Southern Score wins RM180mil contract to build private hospital in Bukit Katil
Southern Score Builders Bhd has secured a RM180 million contract for the main building works of a private hospital in Bukit Katil, Melaka. Work starts on Oct 15, 2026 and is targeted for completion on May 14, 2028, covering a seven-storey hospital, a three-storey car park and supporting facilities. The deal is a related-party transaction involving Radium Development Bhd, the ultimate holding company of Radium Hospital Ayer Keroh Sdn Bhd.
