CJ: Syed Ahmad Idid's pension is PSD's call, not judiciary's
In Putrajaya, Chief Justice Tun Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh said the pension issue of former High Court judge Datuk Syed Ahmad Idid Syed Abdullah falls under the Public Service Department, not the judiciary. Syed Ahmad Idid has said he was forced to resign in 1996 after writing a letter alleging corruption in the judiciary, which cost him his pension.

BIM saved RM157m and 10 years on Pan Borneo Sarawak, Works Ministry says
The Works Ministry said Building Information Modelling resolved over 3,000 drawing errors on the Pan Borneo Sarawak Highway in 2016, saving RM157 million and avoiding a potential 10-year delay. Former minister Jamil Khir charged over RM860.3m Tabung Haji assets
In Kuala Lumpur, former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom was charged in the Sessions Court with three counts of dishonestly transferring over RM860.3 million in Tabung Haji assets. The 65-year-old pleaded not guilty and claimed trial. The judge set bail at RM300,000 and postponed the case to November 5.

KPPA: Stop repeated errors in public sector human resource management
Public Service Director-General Tan Sri Dr Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz called for an end to repeated errors in public sector human resource management by addressing root causes. Police: Viral Cyberjaya barrier push was done with Tamarind Square management's permission
A traffic policeman was filmed pushing open an automatic barrier at Tamarind Square in Cyberjaya while escorting the official convoy of Datuk Undang Luak Johol. Sepang police chief Norhizam Bahaman said the officer acted after the barrier failed to open and the premises management told him to push it manually, then restore it afterwards. No objections or complaints were received from either the escorted party or Tamarind Square management.

Police probe death of 15-year-old girl who fell from Putrajaya apartment
A 15-year-old girl died after falling from a high floor of an apartment in Precinct 5, Putrajaya, on Friday night. Police received a call at 10.33pm and the girl was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer from Putrajaya Hospital. The case is classified as sudden death and an autopsy will be conducted today.

A 15-year-old girl died after she was believed to have fallen from the ninth floor of an apartment in Presint 5, Putrajaya, yesterday. Police received a call at 10.33pm and a Hospital Putrajaya medical officer confirmed her death at the scene. The case is classified as sudden death while the cause is still under investigation.

Proton donates RM200,000 worth of drones for Nepal flood relief mission

SMSS wins 51st Prime Minister's Cup Malay debate
