Box with toy blocks destroyed by bomb squad in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling
A suspicious plastic box found in front of a shoplot in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, was destroyed by a police bomb disposal unit on Monday afternoon. Initial checks showed a high radiation reading, prompting the deployment of the Bomb Disposal Unit and the Bukit Aman CBRNE unit, but the Malaysian Nuclear Agency later confirmed no radioactivity. Woman hurt as car flips after hitting raised road fixture in Petaling Jaya
A 46-year-old woman was injured when her Honda City overturned after its left tyre struck a raised metal road fixture on Jalan Gasing-Jalan Templer in Petaling Jaya at about 7.10am.
