Niche Capital Emas' rare earth partner gets interim manufacturing licence
Niche Capital Emas' partner Greensnow Consolidated has obtained an interim manufacturing licence from Malaysia's Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry to produce green chemical and bio-based solvents for rare earth extraction. The facility is located at Kawasan Perindustrian Gebeng Phase 4 in Kuantan, Pahang. The licence includes conditions on capital investment, local workforce, and technology transfer.

EPIC secures contract to provide two offshore tugboats for Banang oil field operations
EPIC Bhd's subsidiary, Konsortium Pelabuhan Kemaman Sdn Bhd (KPKSB), has won a contract from PETRA Energy Development Sdn Bhd to supply two offshore tugboats for operations at the Banang oil field. The contract signing took place at the OGA 2026 event in Kuala Lumpur.

Pineapple entrepreneur association expands SG1 cultivation area
The Pertubuhan Pengusaha Nanas SG1 Malaysia association was inaugurated at MAHA 2026 in Serdang, Selangor, with the aim of expanding SG1 pineapple cultivation to 2,000 hectares within six years. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security stated the target aligns with its goal of reaching RM2 billion in pineapple exports by January 2028.

Orgabio Holdings is acquiring a freehold industrial property in Semenyih, Selangor for RM11.26 million to develop a warehouse. The site is next to its new factory in Sungai Purun, Semenyih, and the purchase is expected to complete by Q4 2026.
