Malaysia well placed to serve as regional energy partner, says Informa Markets

Informa Markets Malaysia chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat said Malaysia is well positioned to strengthen its role as a regional energy partner amid geopolitical tensions and the energy transition. He spoke at the opening of Oil & Gas Asia 2026 (OGA 2026), held from Sept 2 to 4 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, which features international pavilions and is expected to attract over 30,000 trade attendees.
