365 foreigners charged this year for MyKad, birth certificate misuse
A total of 365 foreigners have been charged in court for offences related to the misuse of MyKad and birth certificates in the first eight months of this year. The National Registration Department's enforcement director said the charges resulted from 738 operations nationwide, with most of those detained being Indonesian and Filipino nationals. The statement was made after leading Ops Layar at a printing factory in Bandar Sultan Suleiman, Port Klang, where three Indonesian women were arrested.

In an operation at a printing factory in Bandar Sultan Suleiman, Port Klang, three Indonesian women were arrested for allegedly using fake MyKad copies. Two of them claimed to have paid between RM200 and RM250 for the forged documents to ease their job search after entering Malaysia illegally.

196 undocumented immigrants arrested in Port Klang operation
A total of 196 undocumented immigrants were arrested during an immigration operation at two premises in Port Klang today. The detainees, from various countries, were held for various immigration offences. They will be taken to the Semenyih Immigration Detention Depot for further processing.

Customs Seize Smuggled Cigarettes, Liquor Worth RM1.95 Million in Klang Valley
The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) Kuala Lumpur seized untaxed white cigarettes and liquor worth RM1.95 million through two special operations around the Klang Valley. The Ops Tembok Besar and Ops Akur operations, conducted in July and August, led to the arrest of 38 individuals and the opening of 38 investigation papers.
