   Police say six hikers feared missing on Gunung Trans Gerah in Kelantan were in good condition when they last contacted family on Tuesday. The group, which includes two children and two guides, began their hike on Aug 29 and were expected to exit via Pos Kemar, Perak on Sept 3. A search and rescue operation is underway after family members lodged a police report on Sept 6.

   Wan Zairudin Wan Ismail, 66, from Shah Alam, reported his son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and two mountain guides missing during a hiking expedition on the Gunung Trans Gerah (Trans GBB) trail in Gua Musang, Kelantan. The Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) has launched a search and rescue operation with helicopter support. The family was due to exit the forest on Thursday and return to Yong Peng, Johor.
