A video showing vehicles believed to be racing and testing their speed on a main road in Putrajaya at night has gone viral on social media, raising safety concerns among users. Putrajaya MP Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin said he will contact the Putrajaya district police headquarters for more details. Last Saturday, Putrajaya police launched an operation against street racers and seized 14 vehicles, including 13 motorcycles, at Lebuh Sentosa.

A 37-year-old inmate from Port Klang, due for release on September 23, secured a job in general services and logistics. Police arrest another pilot in Klang Valley over Jakarta drug syndicate case
Malaysian police arrested another local pilot in the Klang Valley on Monday in connection with an international drug trafficking syndicate linked to a Malaysian co-pilot detained in Jakarta. The suspect, in his 30s, is believed to have handled proceeds from drug sales, bringing the total number of arrests to seven. Police also detailed five raids under Op Melanoplus that netted over 86kg of drugs worth RM10.82 million.

Police cripple Klang Valley vape drug syndicate, seize RM10.82mil in drugs
Police arrested seven men and two women in five raids across the Klang Valley, seizing drugs worth RM10.82 million. The syndicate had been lacing vape liquid with drugs and distributing them via courier services since April. Several suspects have been charged under the Dangerous Drugs Act.

IJM launches AI traffic control centre for three highways, cuts response times by 33%
IJM Corporation launched its AI-powered Smart Highway Traffic Control Centre at the Besraya Loke Yew toll plaza lay-by. The system, which covers Besraya, NPE and LEKAS, uses AI and IoT to detect incidents faster and reduce emergency response times to between eight and 10 minutes. Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi officiated the launch and said no retrenchments are planned.
