Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri launched the Zero Tolerance for Violence Semporna: AAGS X EVAW programme at Hotel Seafest, Semporna. She stressed that violence, abuse and sexual harassment against women must not be normalised and that all segments of society must play their part.

Sexual harassment tribunal records 134 complaints, 90 resolved
Malaysia's Sexual Harassment Tribunal Agency recorded 134 complaints over two years, resolving 90, the women's ministry said. Minister Nancy Shukri said four men filed cases this year and 4,646 domestic violence cases were reported nationwide up to July, including 424 in Sabah. She spoke after launching an anti-violence programme in Semporna.

TAGS records 134 sexual harassment complaints, 90 resolved in eight months
Malaysia's Anti-Sexual Harassment Tribunal (TAGS) recorded 134 complaints in the first eight months of this year, with 90 resolved. Women, Family and Community Development Minister Nancy Shukri said the figure covers only complaints received at KPWKM counters, and noted 4,646 domestic violence cases nationwide up to July, including 424 in Sabah. She spoke after launching an anti-sexual harassment advocacy programme in Semporna.
