Lorry driver fined RM30,000 for obscene WhatsApp messages to ex-wife's husband
A 50-year-old lorry driver was fined RM30,000 by the Sessions Court in Seremban after pleading guilty to five charges of sending obscene pictures and videos via WhatsApp to his ex-wife's current husband in March 2023. A 44-year-old man was arrested by police in Sungai Petani last night after going viral on social media for allegedly asking the public for money and shouting at a vehicle owner. The incident is believed to have happened in front of a bookshop at the Taman Pekan Baru commercial centre, where the suspect was said to be holding an object resembling a machete.
