Abdul Azeez released, to attend UMNO general assembly tonight
Former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Rahim was released at about 3pm today after two days in remand to assist investigations into a fraud case linked to TH hibah payments. His lawyer confirmed he will attend the UMNO general assembly at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur tonight. Yesterday, the Magistrate's Court rejected a police application to extend his remand, and he also faces charges at the Sessions Court.

Foreign man held over scratching eight cars at TRX parking
