Tanjung Bungah residents demand state decision on Sore Thumb coastal park proposal
Residents of Tanjung Bungah, Penang, are pressing the state government for a formal response to their proposal to preserve the Sore Thumb coastal area as a nature park. The residents' association submitted the proposal in February and has not received an official decision, despite the site being gazetted as a green lung. They have given the state a September 20 deadline to agree in principle to their plan.

HGD begins handover of 129 homes at RM828m Aera Township
Heng Guan Development (HGD) has commenced handing over 129 homes at Aera Gardens, the first residential handover in its 150-acre Aera Township in Sungai Petani North, Kedah. The township, with an estimated GDV of RM828 million, is being developed over five phases with a target completion by 2032.
