Penang: Juru-Sungai Dua highway Package 1 at 40.79% completion, on track for 2030
The Penang government says the Juru-Sungai Dua elevated highway project is on track for completion by 2030. Package 1, covering the route between the Juru and Sungai Dua toll plazas, is 40.79% complete and expected to finish by October next year. Four charged with murder of man at Sungai Petani plantation

Cloud seeding in Kedah successfully produces rain at three dams
A three-day cloud seeding operation in Kedah has successfully produced rain at the Pedu, Muda and Beris dams. The operation, which ran from September 3 to 5, also recorded rain near the Ahning dam.
