Warehouse fire in Penjuru Road forces evacuation of about 50 people

British man in Singapore gets 5-day detention, 100 hours community service for assaulting PHV driver

SCDF full-time national serviceman dies after collapsing at Marina Bay fire station
A 20-year-old full-time national serviceman from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) died in hospital on Sunday after he was found unconscious at the Marina Bay Fire Station training ground. Lance Corporal Muhammad Noor Ilham Muhammad Iszwadi was given CPR by colleagues and taken to Singapore General Hospital, where he died. Police said they do not suspect foul play.
