Army delivers 648 boxes of water to drought-hit longhouses
The Malaysian army and Sarawak Social Welfare Department delivered 648 boxes of mineral water to residents of three longhouses in Betong affected by water supply disruptions. Further deliveries are planned for two more longhouses.

Upgrade to farm road brings relief to villagers
A farm road at Rumah Panjang Raba Tiput in Layar, Sarawak, has been upgraded from gravel to concrete, improving access for villagers and their farming activities. Sarawak haze eases as hazardous API readings drop to two stations
Haze conditions in Sarawak are improving, with the number of monitoring stations recording hazardous Air Pollutant Index (API) readings falling to two as of 9am. Kuching and Serian remain hazardous, while several other areas in the state have moved into the 'very unhealthy' category. Air quality in some areas outside Sarawak, including Selangor and Sabah, has deteriorated.

RM100,000 allocated to upgrade Rumah Rose gravity water pipe
A RM100,000 allocation has funded a gravity water pipe project at Rumah Rose Banyun in Sungai Gerugu, Ulu Sengaih, Julau, providing clean water access to the longhouse community. The project was launched by Meluan assemblyman Dato Rolland Duat Jubin, who also donated RM7,000 for kitchen equipment and beautification, and plans to upgrade the main road to the longhouse.
