    The Kuantan High Court has upheld the conviction and six-month jail sentence of a senior Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency officer, Sulhan Zainon, for receiving RM28,000 from a shipping company director. Judicial Commissioner Samry Masri ruled the conviction under Section 165 of the Penal Code was safe, dismissing the officer's claim that the money was a friendly loan.
