245 of 416 dilapidated Sabah schools rebuilt, 63 under construction
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said 245 of the 416 dilapidated schools identified for full replacement in Sabah have been completed, with 63 still under construction. She spoke after handing over the rebuilt SM Sains Sabah and SK Buit Hill in Bukit Padang, Penampang, projects worth about RM118.5 million.

In Sabah, 245 of the 416 dilapidated schools slated for full replacement have been completed, with 63 more under construction, the Education Ministry said. Two handovers were made: SK Buit Hill in Penampang (RM33.46 million) and Sekolah Menengah Sains Sabah at Bukit Padang (RM85.05 million), benefiting 991 pupils.

Sabah assemblywoman opens youth communication programme at UCSF
A youth communication programme, 'Youths in Communication 2.0' under Teraju Muda 2026, was held at University College Sabah Foundation in Penampang. Nominated assemblywoman Grace Lee Li Mei said young people should develop their own communication styles rather than conforming to conventional public-speaking techniques. The programme was organised with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club, UCSF and Rakan Muda.
