A lorry driver was fined RM30,000 by the Seremban Sessions Court after pleading guilty to sending obscene photos and videos of his ex-wife to her new husband via WhatsApp. Mohd Suhaimi Yusof, 50, faces 10 months' jail if he fails to pay. The offence took place at a premises in Mantin on March 22, 2023.

Remand on Azeez not extended, ex-Tabung Haji chairman to be freed today
Kuala Lumpur: Former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim is expected to be released this evening after police failed to extend his remand. His lawyer said the application for a further three days under Section 420 of the Penal Code was rejected, and Azeez is due out before 5pm. He and two former TH officers had been remanded over a fraud case linked to TH hibah.

A former general manager of a property investment holding company has been remanded for two days by the MACC over allegations of abusing his position to approve promotions, salary adjustments and bonuses without following standard operating procedures.
