472 foreigners detained in Immigration raid at Lebuh Pudu
Kuala Lumpur Immigration detained 472 foreign nationals in an integrated enforcement operation at Lebuh Pudu, Kuala Lumpur today. About 2,500 foreigners were checked in the operation that began around 11am, involving nationals from Bangladesh, Myanmar, the Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, China, Zimbabwe and Saudi Arabia. Those detained will be placed at the Bukit Jalil Immigration Depot for further investigation.

1,600 join Oxyenergy Prima Merdeka Run 2026 at Balai Berita Bangsar
About 1,600 participants took part in the Oxyenergy Prima Merdeka Run 2026 organised by Kelab Media Prima at Balai Berita Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, today. The 3.5km and 5.5km runs drew participants of all ages including people with disabilities, and were attended by Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil and Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari. Adam Naufal Amril, 15, of SMK Manjalara, Kepong, was the first to cross the finish line in the 5.5km category with a time of 20 minutes.

Immigration raid at Lebuh Pudu nets 472 undocumented foreigners
An integrated operation at Lebuh Pudu in Kuala Lumpur today detained 472 foreigners suspected of lacking valid documents after about 2,500 people were checked. The raid also uncovered premises believed to be a prostitution centre and a clinic run by a fake doctor. All those detained were taken to the Bukit Jalil Immigration Depot for further action.

Former minister expected to be charged in KL Sessions Court tomorrow over TH RCI
A former minister is expected to face three charges under Section 403 of the Penal Code at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court tomorrow, following MACC investigations prompted by the Tabung Haji RCI report. Four people have already been charged, including former TH chairman Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim. The High Court will also continue Muhyiddin Yassin's Jana Wibawa trial and rule on a student accused of murder.

Businesswoman says she was duped into buying Bumiputera-quota shop lots in Damansara
A woman in her 60s claims she was misled by a developer into buying two commercial shop lots in Damansara in 2010 that were actually Bumiputera-quota units. The status only surfaced when she tried to sell the premises, and she now faces a transfer penalty to the Selangor state government. MCA and SOAM are pressing for an investigation under Section 420 of the Penal Code.

Selangor police detained 146 people aged 16 to 25 and seized 50 motorcycles in an integrated operation against road bullies at the Bukit Raja Toll Plaza on the NKVE early Saturday. The operation, involving JSPT, JPJ and AADK, issued 116 summonses and screened 22 people for drugs, with no positive results.

Police probe death of 15-year-old girl who fell from Putrajaya apartment
A 15-year-old girl died after falling from a high floor of an apartment in Precinct 5, Putrajaya, on Friday night. Police received a call at 10.33pm and the girl was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer from Putrajaya Hospital. The case is classified as sudden death and an autopsy will be conducted today.

Police received a call at 10.33pm and a Hospital Putrajaya medical officer confirmed her death at the scene. The case is classified as sudden death while the cause is still under investigation.

About 1,500 people took part in the Larian Merdeka Oxyenergy Media Prima 2026 in Bangsar, including Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil and Youth and Sports Minister Mohammed Taufiq Johari. Three young Malaysian artists with disabilities show work at KL gallery
Three children with disabilities and rare conditions - Zidane, Branden Lim and Sabrina Teoh - have turned art into a way to express themselves and manage their conditions. Their paintings were shown in May at the Seni Mekar: Art in Bloom exhibition at KEN Gallery in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, alongside work by other young artists. Their parents say the show challenges the idea that such children cannot produce sellable art.
