Shop assistant charged with injuring wife in Gong Badak
A vehicle spare-parts shop assistant pleaded not guilty at the Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court to causing grievous hurt to his wife on 5 September. Wan Noorazmilrullah Wan Noorabiddin, 37, was charged under Sections 325 and 326A of the Penal Code, and the court set 8 October for document submission.

Man arrested for locking wife and children in Kuala Terengganu home
Police in Kuala Terengganu arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly assaulting and unlawfully confining his wife and four children inside their home in Desa Mutiara, Jalan Gong Badak. Officers had to cut padlocks to free the family after the victim made an emergency call. The suspect, who has prior offences, has been remanded for four days.

Court orders private clinic to pay RM359,000 to family over botched circumcision
The Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court has ordered Hijraa Healthcare Sdn Bhd to pay over RM359,000 in damages to a 10-year-old boy and his family. The damages stem from a circumcision procedure in 2023 that led to severe injury and required corrective surgery. The court also dismissed the clinic's defamation suit against the boy's mother.
