A 25-year-old private tutor pleaded not guilty at the Ayer Keroh Sessions Court in Melaka to a charge of exposing a four-year-old girl to physical injury on Dec 12, 2025. The court granted RM9,000 bail with one surety, and the case is set for mention on Oct 16.

Bangladeshi influencer murder case: chemical report not ready, mention set for Oct 13
The Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court was told the chemical report in the case of military officer Captain Jad Faid Arhan, accused of murdering Bangladeshi influencer Muzahid Millad, is not yet ready. The court set Oct 13 for the report and additional documents for two drink-driving charges. The alleged incident occurred at KM 1.9 of the Maju Expressway (MEX) on April 23.

Melaka High Court upholds JPJ officer's corruption conviction over RM3,600 bribes
The Melaka High Court has upheld the conviction of former JPJ enforcement officer Rafi Abd Rahman on six corruption charges involving RM3,600 in bribes paid to a colleague. Rafi, who was a chief motor vehicle inspector at JPJ's Bukit Katil division, had his 10-month jail sentence and RM60,000 in fines affirmed after Judicial Commissioner K Raja Segaran dismissed his appeal.
