Ministry weighs OKU category for Rukun Negara speech contest
Malaysia's National Unity Ministry will consider adding a category for persons with disabilities to the Rukun Negara Speech Competition. Deputy Minister R Yuneswaran said the mechanism would be discussed with stakeholders after the national final at the Melaka International Trade Centre today. This year's contest drew over 10,000 entries.

PM's political secretary: focus on the people, finish the term
The Prime Minister's political secretary, Datuk Azman Ab Rahman, said the Unity Government should focus on the people's business and complete its term rather than entertain challenges from certain quarters. PH ready for Melaka polls without formal talks with BN, says Adam Adli
Adam Adli Abdul Halim said the absence of formal negotiations between PH and BN so far has not affected PH's readiness for the Melaka state election. He said PH is prepared to contest all the seats it previously vied for if no understanding is reached. He spoke after closing the Madani Adopted Village programme at Arena Ara Permai, Kampung Sungai Putat.
