RM350,000 to upgrade roads and lifts at Bandar Tasik Selatan flats
The government has allocated RM350,000 to upgrade road structures at the Bandar Tasik Selatan low-cost flats in Kuala Lumpur under the 2026 Projek Mesra Rakyat initiative. The flats' lifts will also be repaired, and a RM72,000 Flexi EV Charging station with four chargers was launched at the same event. Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail also presented tuition sponsorship to 10 Form Five students.

Jalan Syed Putra-Jalan Istana junction to close nightly from Sept 14 for NPE 2 works
The intersection of Jalan Syed Putra and Jalan Istana in Kuala Lumpur will be closed in stages from September 14, between 10pm and 5am, for preliminary works on the New Pantai Expressway Extension Project (NPE 2). New Pantai Expressway Sdn Bhd advised motorists to plan their journeys and follow traffic management measures.

Citaglobal wins RM82.1mil subcontract to build residential college at IPG Lembah Pantai
Citaglobal Bhd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd, has secured an RM82.1 million design-and-build subcontract from Purnama Base Sdn Bhd. The project covers a residential college at the Institute of Teacher Education's Malay Language Campus in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur, and is due for completion on 30 June 2028. The 22-month contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings.

IJM launches AI traffic control centre for three highways, cuts response times by 33%
IJM Corporation launched its AI-powered Smart Highway Traffic Control Centre at the Besraya Loke Yew toll plaza lay-by. The system, which covers Besraya, NPE and LEKAS, uses AI and IoT to detect incidents faster and reduce emergency response times to between eight and 10 minutes. Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi officiated the launch and said no retrenchments are planned.
