LSH Capital, PNSB, Seriemas launch RM850mil Morib rejuvenation project
Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad, together with Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad and Seriemas Development, has launched the Morib Rejuvenation Project in Kuala Langat, Selangor. The project will rejuvenate the Sri Morib Golf Course and develop a mixed-use project with a gross development value of RM850 million over 10 years.

Immigration Dept reviews SOPs after fatal Jalan Sultan Ismail crash; five escapees recaptured
The Immigration Department is conducting an internal review of its standard operating procedures following a fatal crash in Kuala Lumpur on October 19, where a department lorry ran a red light and killed three people. Director-General Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said the police are investigating the incident, and the department will improve SOPs to prevent recurrence. Separately, five of 11 detainees who escaped from the Tanah Merah immigration depot in Kelantan on August 23 have been recaptured.

11 SMART members depart for Nepal for flood and landslide SAR mission
Eleven members of Malaysia's Special Malaysia Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (SMART) departed from the TUDM Subang Air Base to Nepal to assist in search and rescue operations following floods and landslides. The 10-day mission, carrying specialized equipment including tunnel rescue gear, aims to help all victims, including 55 Malaysians still unaccounted for.

Group urges regular safety audits of highway structures after NKVE gantry collapse
The Alliance for a Safe Community has called for regular safety audits of structures along highways nationwide after a large structure fell across the NKVE near Shah Alam, blocking all northbound lanes. College student traumatized, reports e-hailing driver for lewd talk
A 19-year-old college student filed a police report after alleging an e-hailing driver made lewd conversation and showed her a pill during a trip to her hostel in Setapak from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) early in the morning. The victim, known as Putery, chose to remain silent during the journey out of fear for her safety. The police report was lodged at the Setapak police station.

Free child anemia screening program in Shah Alam and Kelana Jaya
NGO MySKALA will hold free anemia and dengue prevention screenings for children aged 7 to 11 in the Klang Valley.
