Three detained following viral brawl video
Police in Kota Belud, Sabah arrested three men in connection with a brawl at a shop in Kampung Pengkalan Abai that went viral on social media. The fight, which involved six men, is believed to have started over a misunderstanding about cigarettes. Police are looking for three more suspects.

Nine students injured after school bus carrying 36 crashes in Sabah
Nine students from SM Sains Sabah were injured when their school bus crashed on the Kota Belud-Kundasang road in Sabah. The accident occurred at the Simpang Tiga junction and all victims were taken to Kota Belud Hospital for treatment.

Projects on track
The Chief Minister of Sabah visited the site of the 20.8 km Serusop-Pituru Pan Borneo Highway project in Tuaran. The project is on track, with the 682-metre bridge over Sungai Sulaman expected to be completed by December next year and the full highway by July 2028.

Serusop–Pituru Pan Borneo package on track, Sungai Sulaman bridge ready by Dec 2027
Construction of the 20.8-kilometre Serusop–Pituru Pan Borneo Highway package (WP09) in Tuaran, Sabah is progressing well. The 682-metre bridge across Sungai Sulaman is scheduled for completion by December 2026, with the overall RM465 million package slated for completion in July 2028. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor visited the site on Sunday to inspect progress.

Duo fined for causing hurt
The Ranau Magistrates' Court fined two individuals a total of RM3,800 in two separate cases of voluntarily causing hurt. The incidents occurred in Pekan Ranau and Kampung Muhibbah, Kundasang.

Man fined RM1,700 for illegal lottery
A 51-year-old man was fined RM1,700 by a court in Ranau, Sabah, for possessing a slip with four-digit numbers linked to an unlicensed public lottery. The offence occurred in September 2024 near Block C of Bangunan Koisaan in Pekan Ranau.
