In Kangar, 90 of 99 branch chiefs left the party, while in Padang Besar and Arau division leaders and branch chiefs also joined Wawasan. Newly appointed Perlis Bersatu chairman Izizam Ibrahim remains optimistic about defending the party.

The deputy chief of BERSATU's Padang Besar division, Ramzi Md Udi, along with 14 branch chiefs from 24 branches, announced their immediate resignation from the party. They cited a loss of confidence in the central leadership and said they will join Parti Wawasan Negara (WAWASAN), led by Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
