Orang Asli in Pos Gob want two iron bridges finished before monsoon
More than 1,000 Temiar Orang Asli residents of Pos Gob in Gua Musang say construction of two iron bridges on their main access road is behind schedule. The project began early this year and is due for completion next January, but residents fear the road will be muddy and damaged when the monsoon arrives. Nenggiri assemblyman Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani said the complaint is being taken seriously and he met residents with the contractor.

Two lorries collide at Sungai Sok, Kuala Krai; one dead, two hurt
A crash involving two lorries at Sungai Sok in Kuala Krai, Kelantan today killed a 29-year-old man and injured two others. 30 inmates at Machang Rehabilitation Centre join tahfiz programme

Elderly man, 66, killed by elephant while searching for cow in Kuala Krai
A 66-year-old man died after being attacked by an elephant while searching for his missing cow at Ladang Lepan Kabu, Kuala Krai, yesterday afternoon.
