A 41-year-old man was arrested in Penampang, Sabah, after his girlfriend died following an alleged assault on Aug 31. The woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital I in Kota Kinabalu but was pronounced dead. Police are investigating under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
