245 of 416 dilapidated Sabah schools replaced, 63 still being built
In Sabah, 245 of the 416 dilapidated schools slated for full replacement have been completed, with 63 more under construction, the Education Ministry said. Two handovers were made: SK Buit Hill in Penampang (RM33.46 million) and Sekolah Menengah Sains Sabah at Bukit Padang (RM85.05 million), benefiting 991 pupils.

Micro-entrepreneurship to empower economic independence of deaf OKU in Sabah
A research project by Politeknik Kota Kinabalu, funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, is studying how micro-entrepreneurship can empower deaf OKU in Sabah's west coast. The nine-month study, involving 15-20 participants from Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, and Papar, aims to identify challenges and support needed for inclusive entrepreneurship. Findings were presented to the Sabah Society for the Deaf at its premises in Bukit Padang, Kota Kinabalu.
