Penampang Preppies retain overall title at 16th swimming championship
Penampang Preppies Swimming Club retained the overall title at the 16th Penampang Preppies Swimming Championship held at the Penampang Sports Complex pool on September 4-5. The hosts collected 31 gold, 24 silver and 34 bronze medals, with Kelab Renang SSA Sandakan and Topspeed Swimming Club (Miri) finishing second and third. The two-day meet drew 364 swimmers from 14 clubs and saw several meet records broken.

Keras badminton tournament draws Sabah artistes to Putatan
Kelab Rekreasi Artis Sabah held its Closed Badminton Tournament 2026 at Dewan Ketiau in Putatan on Sept 5, drawing members of the state's entertainment community for a day of sport and fellowship. Shuttle Striker took the overall title, with Smash Squad second and Court Crasher third across women's, men's and mixed doubles. The club said the event aimed to promote healthy living and strengthen ties among Sabah artistes.
