1. 22nd Japanese Film Festival screens 14 films across five cities

   The 22nd Japanese Film Festival began on 8 September in the Klang Valley before travelling to George Town, Johor Bahru, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu until 18 October. Fourteen Japanese films are being shown, including a retrospective of director Yamada Yoji and a Girl Power programme, with special Kokuho screenings at GSC Mid Valley and GSC MyTOWN.

   Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah attended a special screening of the documentary 'TEKAD: Ekspedisi Guthrie Everest 2026' at a cinema in Subang Jaya tonight. The documentary captures the journey of two Malaysian climbers, Mohd Khafiz Bachok and Chew Wei Ngor, in their expedition to Mount Everest. The exclusive screening will air on Astro channel 100 on 13 September.
