1. Private vehicle inspection centre launched in Sungai Buloh

   Transport Minister Anthony Loke launched the M.V.15 CARSOME Academy inspection centre in Sungai Buloh today. He said private inspection centres meeting JPJ standards can cut congestion and waiting times for vehicle ownership transfers to under 20 minutes. The government has also set a uniform price for M.V.15 inspections at all centres.

   Mondelez International has invested RM90 million in its Cadbury confectionery plant in Shah Alam, Selangor, launching a new Crumb Tower that lets the factory produce chocolate crumb locally instead of importing it from South Africa and Australia. Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said the investment shows confidence in the state as a long-term manufacturing base, while Mondelez's Malaysia and Singapore managing director Simon Crowther said it strengthens self-sufficiency and Shah Alam's role in the regional network.
