Customs seizes RM43m drugs in four Selangor operations
The Customs Department seized nearly RM43 million worth of drugs in four separate operations in Selangor in July. The largest haul was 505.6kg of ketamine found in a Shah Alam warehouse, with other seizures in Klang and Ampang. Authorities believe syndicates are using Malaysia as a transit point for drug trafficking.

Tree falls on railway track in Klang Valley – KTM, ETS services disrupted!
A tree fell onto the railway tracks between Kepong and Rawang stations in the Klang Valley, damaging overhead power lines and causing delays of over 60 minutes to KTM Komuter and ETS services. KTMB technical teams are at the scene.

Madani F1 tickets sold out as demand soars
All 10,000 Madani tickets for the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit have been sold out. The Youth and Sports Ministry is considering adding more tickets to meet demand for the Oct 2-4 race, which returns to Sepang after a nine-year absence.

10,000 MADANI tickets for F1 at SIC sold out
All 10,000 MADANI tickets for the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit, priced at RM200 each, have been sold out. The Youth and Sports Minister stated that no additional quota has been added yet, but possibilities are being explored. The ministry is also recruiting 1,000 Rakan Muda volunteers for the F1 and MotoGP events at SIC in October.

38 Malaysian pilgrims return safely after Nepal border disruption
38 Malaysian pilgrims who were in Tibet during severe flooding returned safely to Malaysia on Aug 31. The group, which had traveled to Mount Kailash, had to take an alternative route back to Nepal due to the disaster. They landed at KLIA after receiving assistance from the Malaysian Embassy in Nepal.
