Selangor: 70% of investor issues resolved, Mondelez opens RM90m Shah Alam crumb tower
Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said Invest Selangor has resolved 74 of about 138 investment-related issues as of July, with over 60 site visits this year, giving a success rate of around 70%. He spoke in Shah Alam after launching Mondelez International's RM90 million Crumb Tower at its Cadbury Confectionery Malaysia plant, which will allow local chocolate crumb production instead of imports from South Africa and Australia.

George Kent unit signs AI deal with China's Extreme Vision for Malaysia, Singapore rights
George Kent (Malaysia) Bhd's subsidiary GK SuperTech signed a binding term sheet with Shandong Extreme Vision Technology for exclusive rights to rebrand, market and sell Extreme Vision's AI algorithms and large models in Malaysia and Singapore. The collaboration includes deploying Vision AI at George Kent's manufacturing plant in Puchong as a pilot smart-manufacturing site, with plans to expand across Asean.
