Thai man found drowned in Sungai Golok near Rantau Panjang
A 23-year-old Thai man, Faiz Hasan, was found drowned in Sungai Golok along the Malaysia-Thailand border near Kampung Pengkalan Pasir and Abe Yie in Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas. He was recovered by Thai authorities at 7.10pm after a search and rescue operation that began the previous morning, and the body was handed to Thai authorities.

Man missing after jumping into Sungai Golok to evade PGA patrol
A man is feared drowned after jumping into Sungai Golok in Rantau Panjang early this morning while trying to flee from Pasukan Gerakan Am personnel. Another man was rescued by a Thai boat driver and taken to the Thai riverbank.
