Maybank Islamic gives RM869,806 in zakat to Kedah board
Maybank Islamic handed RM869,806.58 in wakalah zakat to the Kedah Zakat Board for four asnaf economic and welfare programmes. The funds cover manufacturing technology training at KHTP Techno Centre, business capital for tailoring workshops in Kota Setar, a food distribution centre across 16 mosques in Kuala Muda, and sewing machines for participants.
