1. Chow: eight of 10 Penang2030 targets met or on track

2. Magazine Road lane in George Town to close 21 days for LRT works

3. Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah closed 322 days for Mutiara LRT works

   MRT Corp announced that Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah in George Town will have a 322-day traffic diversion from Sept 12, 2026 to July 31, 2027 for piling and structural works on the Mutiara Line LRT. Jalan Magazine will also be partially closed from 10pm on Sept 14 to 5am on Oct 5 for road widening and utility relocation.
