Man who stabbed wife 13 times remanded seven days in Kulim
A man who surrendered at Lunas police station after allegedly killing his wife at Taman Tiram, Hi-Tech, in Kulim, has been remanded for seven days. The 39-year-old victim died with 13 stab wounds, and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

26 litterers, 14 of them foreigners, ordered to clean Johor public spaces
Twenty-six people convicted of littering, 25 of them for cigarette butts, were ordered to perform community service at five locations across Johor. SWCorp said 3,095 littering notices have been issued in the state since Aug 1, with 107 cases concluded in court and RM71,550 in fines.

A 39-year-old woman died after her husband allegedly stabbed her 13 times with a folding knife at their home in Taman Tiram, Kulim Hi-Tech, Kulim, last night. The 43-year-old suspect surrendered at Lunas police station and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Worker dies after scaffolding support structure collapses at Bukit Mertajam construction site
A worker died after a temporary structure supporting scaffolding collapsed at a construction site in Bukit Mertajam on 8 September. The victim fell from the eighth floor and was pronounced dead at the scene from severe head injuries. Penang's Department of Occupational Safety and Health issued a stop-work order and is investigating under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
