Mandai and Upper Jurong Road dormitory sites to be sold by 2027
Two purpose-built dormitory sites in Mandai and Upper Jurong Road will be put up for sale by the Government in 2027 on 30-year leases. The Mandai site in Lorong Lada Hitam 1 is expected to yield 15,000 beds, while the Upper Jurong Road site is estimated to yield 8,100 beds. The Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of National Development said the six dormitories will add about 48,300 beds by the early 2030s.

Property agent flags repeated unauthorised entry into Woodlands flat under renovation
A property agent has raised concerns after people believed to be neighbours allegedly entered a Woodlands flat under renovation on two separate occasions, taking photos and walking through the kitchen and rooms. The agent posted footage on TikTok on Sep. 3 asking whether the behaviour amounts to trespassing, and said workers who told them off were ignored.
