Penang City Council mayor called as witness in Guan Eng corruption trial
Penang City Council mayor Datuk Rajendran P Anthony will be called as a prosecution witness in the corruption trial of former Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng. The trial at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court concerns the Penang undersea tunnel and main roads project. The 38th prosecution witness, MACC investigating officer Zulhilmi Ramli, agreed that Beijing Urban Construction Group scored highest in the project's RFP documents.

High Court sets Sept 17 for additional evidence in Rosmah's solar hybrid graft appeal
The High Court in Kuala Lumpur has fixed Sept 17 to hear additional evidence from star prosecution witness Rayyan Radzwill Abdullah in Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor's solar hybrid project graft appeal. Gombak Setia assemblyman acquitted of TikTok public alarm charge
Gombak Setia assemblyman Muhammad Hilman Idham was acquitted and discharged by the Magistrate's Court in Kuala Lumpur of a charge under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code. The magistrate ruled the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case. The charge related to a TikTok video allegedly made on July 30, 2025.

High Court to decide Sept 14 on teen charged with murdering schoolmate in Bandar Utama
The Shah Alam High Court has set Sept 14 to deliver its decision in the case of a 15-year-old boy charged with murdering his 16-year-old schoolmate in Bandar Utama last year.
