New forest fire detected in Kampung Kut

A new forest fire has been detected in Kampung Kut, Daro, covering about 7.5 hectares near a previous fire site. Firefighters are battling the blaze with nine personnel, having extinguished 2.5 hectares so far, but hot, dry weather and wind are hampering efforts.
